The Demonstration Garden at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds is overseen and maintained by the Master Gardeners Association of Cape Cod. It was originally built in 1987 for the Barnstable County Agricultural Fair and re-designed and rebuilt in 2022. The numerous gardens include: a vegetable garden containing eight raised beds, container beds, in-ground beds, a large perennial border garden, an herb garden, a cut flower garden, a pollinator garden, a native plant garden, a new lawn alternatives/ground cover garden and a shade garden featuring thirty-four varieties of hosta, which includes twenty-seven award winning annual varieties from The American Hosta Society. 

Master Gardeners will be available in the garden throughout the fair to help answer all of your gardening questions. There will also be a daily Gardening Tips presentation in the garden at 5:00pm.
