Ground Acts

Spectacular shows take place daily throughout the fairgrounds and all are free with admission. Check out the lineup below.

Pirate Man Dan

Pirate Man Dan – back by popular demand – does it all in a high energy show of magic, escapes, juggling and more, all to a nautical theme. Take a seat in front of the Island stage and prepare to be amazed with crazy antics that will have you on the edge of your seats, or on your tip toes trying to see over the crowd. Also be on the look out for the Jolley Roger-The bubble blowing pirate ship moving up and down throughout the walkways. When Pirate Man Dan is not doing shows you can catch him at the helm of the good ship, getting photos with you and your family, having quick sword battles, dancing to pirate music and high fiving grandma or your little ones and bringing a cloud of bubbles to every part of the grounds he's in.

Malik the Magicomic

Malik The Magicomic will return to the Barnstable County Fair for this year’s Fair! With over 30 years of experience performing all over the country, Malik will keep you laughing and amazed. From visual sleight of hand to hilarious comedy moments, Malik delivers a performance for the whole family!

The Moving Mermaid

Floating around daily on her custom seashell is Anna Maria, The Moving Mermaid! This fun loving mermaid can be found throughout the fairgrounds with her land moving sea shell, telling stories of the ocean, bopping to island music, and chatting with kids of all ages.

Circus Rose

Circus Rose brings joy and imagination to the Barnstable County Fair! A stilt walker, aerialist, and bubble artist, Circus Rose will delight you as a towering butterfly and with her whimsical Butterfly Bubble Buggy, creating interactive moments filled with laughter, wonder, and connection.

Rosalita’s Puppets
(Friday - Sunday only on the Showcase Stage)

Come experience the magic of Rosalita’s Puppets. The Enchanted Castle hand puppet show is fun for the whole family. Meet Godmother Glitter as she protects the Enchanted castle from the dragon. Enjoy a selection of fun stories and meet all kinds of puppets from a Unicorn and a rabbit to a prince and a frog.

Robert Clark (Magician and Juggler)

Robert Clarke has the uncanny ability to capture the young and old with his fun filled family show.  Always high energy and fast paced, Robert brings the audience on a roller coaster of belly laughs and cheers.  Each and every show is PG-friendly and is always interactive with BOTH kids and adults.

Livestock Shows

Getting up close with livestock is one of the most magical aspects of the fair.  

Horses, mini horses, sheep, alpaca, cattle, dogs, goats and rabbits are among the many animals you may get to meet. You can pet and feed furry friends in the petting zoo, visit the interactive show rings, and learn more about these majestic creatures from their handlers. Be prepared for an immersive agricultural experience unlike any other on Cape Cod!

Ever wonder what the judges are looking for when choosing the showmanship winners? Here are the important criteria — cleanliness and appearance of the animals and stalls, attractiveness of the overall exhibit, how engaging the exhibitor is with fellow exhibitors and the public, and educational merit.
